There are many reasons why you may be considering psychotherapy. It may be that a major life event has caused old assumptions about the world to be called into question. Or there may be a more general sense of discontent, a feeling that life is not working out as it should. Psychotherapy can help in times of deep distress, provide a space to work on improving relationships, as well as find greater meaning or purpose in life.
I offer a confidential and supportive environment in which you may increase understanding of yourself and gain new perspectives. Within this non-judgemental space you may find the strength to begin to explore your inner and outer world, throw fresh light on established patterns of relating, and move towards a more satisfying and fulfilling way of living in the world.
I have completed the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) accredited MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at BCPC (Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling). I work within the respective UKCP and BCPC Ethical Principles and Code of Practice. My UKCP membership number is: 2011163038
As well as seeing clients in private practice I have two years experience at the SWAN project in Bristol, working with a wide range of issues including alcohol, anxiety, bereavement and relationship difficulties.
I offer a first session of 40 minutes at a reduced rate of £10, which is an opportunity to get a feel for how we would work together and to ask any questions you may have. The usual weekly fee after this is £47.
