Are you facing a sexual or relationship issue?
Many people wonder if they are normal and worry about being sexually broken and want to hear from someone who really knows. Are you struggling to cope with big changes in your life like getting divorced, married or bereavement? The sudden loss of a partner can leave you unfulfilled and lacking the confidence to feel desirable again. Do you need help to deal with life-changers like having children or the menopause on your enjoyment or desire for sex?
Many couples struggle to find the time and energy to keep sex as an important way of maintaining an intimate connection. For all kinds of issues of intimacy like these, I offer a safe and non-judgemental space in which you will be heard and helped to have the conversations and therapy needed to resolve them.
I am a clinical sexologist with a Doctorate in Human Sexuality from the Institute of Advanced Studies for Human Sexuality (IASHS). I offer sex therapy by combining both counselling and coaching approaches. This enables me to deal with the complexities of sexual issues and intimacy problems within relationships. I am certified through the World Association of Sex Coaches (WASC) and accredited by the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS).
The kind of common issues that make people search for a sex therapist are:
- Inhibitions and low sexual confidence
- Low or no libido
- Erectile dysfunction
- Early ejaculation
- Mis-matched desire in relationships
- Low or no sex marriages
- Difficulty in experiencing orgasm
- Lack of communication and knowledge about sex
- Bad/Negative body image
- Dealing with the effects of affairs, past trauma and abuse
- Issues with pornography
- Simply looking for more pleasure and connection through sex
Some comments on their experiences are recorded here.
I am also qualified to offer clients an alternative somatic approach to their issues with full insurance cover and accreditation through the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS).
