Kate Hardenberg, Widcombe Therapy Room Bath

Are you having relationship or family issues?

Are you struggling with anxiety or feeling depressed at times?

Have you had a life transition such as a redundancy or an illness or bereavement, perhaps coping with the aftermath of an affair or betrayal?

It may be that life is getting on top of you, and it may feel that there is no one to turn to help sort things out. Talking to me can help.

About Me

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist offering one to one integrative psychotherapy in Widcombe, Bath (covering BA1 and BA2). I help young people, teenagers and adults. I have studied a number of therapeutic techniques and I aim to use the appropriate one which will be best suited to you and what you feel comfortable with.

I create a friendly, supportive, kind and safe environment to allow you to work through issues that you may have. I can help you with:

  • anxiety
  • generalised anxiety disorder
  • depression,
  • bereavement,
  • relationship issues,
  • phobias,
  • family issues,
  • life events and transitions,
  • childhood abuse
  • and other issues.

Psychotherapy training

I have an MA and Diploma in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). You can find me on the BCPC Referral Service website. I am also UKCP accredited, and my registration number is 2011162579.

I also have a Diploma in Eye Movement Integration (EMI). This offers a more specific trauma based healing process which effectively takes the emotion out of the memory. This is very similar to EDMR.

Alongside my private practice I run a two day clinic for the NHS at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. My clinic is for patients with long term chronic conditions so I have particular expertise in this area. If you have diabetes, CFS, fibromyalgia or any other condition then I can offer you an experienced approach.

Therapy Location

Widcombe Therapy Rooms in Bath are very close to the train and bus stations. The rooms are quiet, calm and private. There is free onstreet parking. It is accessible easily for BA1, BA2, Frome, Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and Chippenham.

Sessions are £45 for 50 minutes.  I work Monday and Wednesday daytime and evenings.  From the beginning of October I will be working on Thursdays as well from 9am-1pm.
